Grey, does everyone else

only see grey-

Does it ever matter that you have to, got to

Stay- in the cycle of this

hell on earth.

Grey cells, Grey walls,

Grey brick- the ground even

appears to have gray dirt.

A thousand dull cries seem to

Scream grey- The most

cheery world not exactly right

not exactly day- just gray

Trying to find color

behind the grey-

lay down to sleep and

constantly play.

Should I feel fortunate

because I don't feel black

Trying to think past the grey

without looking back.

At a glimpse I think I almost

see red. Realization sinks

in- I’m still lying in bed

Where am i going what

Should i say -

Grey, is it

me or does everyone

else only see grey.
