Ms. McBride: Delayna come see me after lunch

Delayna: Ok…

Andy: I wonder what she wasn’t to talk to you about, what did you do now?

Delayna: Nothing I’ve actually been pretty good lately. So how was your day?

Andy: Good! I talked to Phil last night and his COPD is acting up

Delayna: Ok well I gotta get back before I get in trouble love ya!

Andy: Love you too!

Delayna: Hey Ms. McBride how was your lunch?

Ms. McBride: Ok, what is this?

(She shows me my paper/ assignment from earlier)

Delayna: You mean the part where I say I’m white?

Ms. McBride: Yea

Delayna: Well the assignment was to write down what stresses me out and what past I played in it and the guards stress me out because they are racist. Petty people and not getting my gain time stresses me out.

Ms. McBride: Why would you say that they are racist?

Delayna: Because of the way they act

Ms. McBride: Well I’m going to put you in Ms. Underwood’s group because she’s white.
