It’s possible to learn the same thing twice, each time as if it’s brand new. But the first time I learned it, it came from within my heart and I just knew there were two. I feel their individual sameness and never told anyone. It was a cherished secret just the three of us shared. I know not because I was bigger then I should be, because I wasn’t. What I knew didn’t come from the advances of medical technology that allow expecting mothers to see their unborn children. I knew because the weight in my self had shifted. It was neither heavier or lighter. It was some shades and different hues of awareness of something more.
I had picked the winning numbers in the baby lottery and two perfect matching baby girls were embracing one another from the minute they entered existence.
