State Pen

is a bad reality show where reality sucks is too many women in one room is where unstable is the norm and being sane is obsolete is walking fast to go nowhere is begging for a Tylenol today because tomorrow you won't get one is running out of toilet paper Wednesday morning when the next issue is Friday night is talking too loud even when it's silent because it's the only way to be heard is too little food but it is terrible so you won't beg for more is women getting older desperately trying to hold onto their youth is emotional nights and trying not to feel days is crying in the shower so no one else sees is laughter because you must do do to keep from going insane is "it is what it is and it ain't what it ain't" is time flying by yet it seems to have slowed to a snail's pace is family, though we are not linked by blood we are connected is some of my worst memories and ironically some of my best is standing in line to stand in another line is saying it could be worse but not really meaning it is forced sobriety that gets confused with actually being sober is their way because your way doesn't count is learning to live while you're dying inside is a bad decision made, a choice, is time to start over
