The Red Balloon

The Red Balloon

Went up to the sky

The sky was crimson red

The red balloon bumped into

the clouds-

leaving a red outline

on the cloud.

The red balloon belonged

to the little girl with red hair and freckles.

She was unhappy when

the balloon floated away

but the red balloon was happy

to be free and roam.

The red balloon popped

way up high, in the

Sky.

The remnants of the

balloon floated down

to earth - in the

backyard of the red house

where the little girl with red

hair lived.

The little girl with red hair

got another balloon - and she

filled it with helium- so

it could have another red balloon

adventure.
