I spend an hour each day walking the calf. It has to get exercise and get used to being led. The more time you spend with it, the more obedient it will be and leading it into the show ring will be a piece of cake. Let me show you how to shoot a free throw. Always follow your shot. When you practice, roll the ball off the tips of your fingers straight up into the air, above your head. Always do something for yourself each day. Make it something positive, that you feel good about. Trust in yourself and always be true and honest to yourself. If you are true and honest with yourself, you will more likely be honest with others. Live one day at a time and if someone disrespects you, walk away and remember what’s most important and worthwhile in your life. Don’t look to others for validation. Your relationship with your higher power is all the validation you need. I love you and never doubt yourself. Stay focused on what’s important and remember you have to work hard to get where you want to go. Nothing in life is free and just handed to you on a silver platter. Your sons will respect and independent, responsible, and confident mother who instills a strong work ethic in them. Don’t be a door-mat. Stand up for your beliefs and always stay true to yourself. Love yourself as I will always love you.
