I was fortunate to receive some of my most memorable do’s and don’ts from the woman who raised me, my great aunt R.I.P.
-Come in the house when the lights come off.
-Don’t cut your hair it’s a woman’s glory.
- To stop a nose bleed put cold keys down your back and tilt your head and pinch your nose.
-Don’t climb a tree or you’ll be called a tomboy.
-Girls shouldn’t play with tonka trucks.
-Don’t wear pants to church it’s only for men/boys.
-Always wear clean undies at bedtime.
-Don’t eat in the living room.
-No kids allowed in the family room.
- Don’t be coming in the house all the time when outside playing.
